The Challenge :
Public transport in Rwanda required a structured system to monitor drivers' and conductors' professionalism, track their behavioral records, and enhance service quality. Manual processes made it difficult to maintain real-time data on driver conduct, leading to challenges in regulation enforcement.
THE SOLUTION:
63INC developed the Drivers and Conductors’ Vocational Cards Management System (DVC)—a digital registry that centralizes driver data, tracks vocational training, and automates disciplinary monitoring. The platform includes a rating mechanism that assesses driver behavior over time, fostering a culture of accountability.
RESULT:
Since implementation, the system has significantly improved driver compliance, public safety, and overall service delivery. With automated data tracking, regulators can now efficiently monitor driver performance and enforce better professional standards across the industry.
